Associate Professor Mark Green is a reproductive biologist and the Research Director at Monash IVF, as well as a group leader at the University of Melbourne and a Fellow of the Society for Reproductive Biology. Following his PhD in the UK, he held postdoctoral positions in the USA and NZ before moving to Australia. His lab focuses on identifying how environmental factors, especially endocrine disrupting chemicals, impact hormone concentrations, gamete and embryo development. He has over 75 publications and his research has resulted in patents and two spinout companies. In his role at Monash IVF, he facilitates research, commercialisation and the national roll-out of new technologies that have improved patient education and fertility outcomes. This involves oversight of >50 clinical and research projects in conjunction with a variety of companies, start-ups and universities.
