Royal North Shore Hospital and Sydney Medical School, New South Wales, Australia Diana Learoyd is an Endocrinologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and an Associate Professor at Sydney Medical School. She completed her PhD in 1999 in the genetics of thyroid cancer, and of MEN2. She set up a thyroid cancer clinical database at RNSH with a NSWCI grant. She has had a major role in the 5 TKI clinical trials run at RNSH, for both DTC and MTC patients. She runs the thyroid cancer MDT, and collaborates with the Department of Endocrine Surgery and the Cancer Genetics Lab of the Kolling Institute. She has a busy clinical practice with a special interest in thyroid disease of all types.
