- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dr Alexandra Harvey is a Lecturer in the School of BioSciences and Research Fellow in the Reproductive Biology and Assisted Conception Laboratories of Prof. David Gardner at the University of Melbourne. Her work aims to understand the interplay between metabolism, epigenetics and gene expression in regulating early development and the downstream consequences of perturbations in nutrient availability. She has established metabolic footprints in response to changing nutrient conditions in preimplantation embryos, pluripotent stem cells and their differentiated progeny, with a particular focus on applying her work to improve embryo and stem cell culture systems.
