Associate Professor Warrick Inder is an Endocrinologist and clinical researcher at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1988 and completed his MD examining the effects of opioid peptides on ACTH secretion. He spent 2 years in the Neuroendocrine Unit of the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston USA on a post-doctoral fellowship researching pituitary adenomas, before returning as a consultant Endocrinologist at Christchurch Hospital, NZ. In 2001, he moved to Australia, working for 10 years at St Vincent’s Hospital, then relocated to Brisbane in 2011. He is currently an eminent staff specialist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane and associate professor with the University of Queensland. He has broad research interests including pituitary, adrenal and reproductive endocrinology. He is an ESA past-president and was presented with an ESA Outstanding Clinical Practitioner Award in 2021. In 2022 he was conferred as an ESA honorary life member.
