Dr Heidi Hilton completed a PhD at the Garvan Institute in 2009 and currently works in the Breast Cancer Group led by Professor Christine Clarke at the Westmead Millennium Institute. Her current research focuses on investigating the role of progesterone in the normal human breast and in breast cancer. She has been the lead author on a number of publications and has continued to build a profile in the breast cancer research field, highlighted by being awarded a number of external peer-reviewed grants to support her own salary as well as her research, as well as receiving invitations to speak at national and international conferences. Heidi is currently a National Breast Cancer Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow.
